Rep. Grier Martin has worked hard to help military and overseas voters cast a ballot. The statistics are in from the 2012 elections and show that the efforts of Martin and his co-sponsor on H.B. 614 Rep. Ric Killian have paid off. According to Gerry Cohen, Director of the Bill drafting Section at the NC General Assembly, the “success rate” of military ballots rose from 63.74% in 2008 to 76.74% in 2012. “It is crucial that we continue to help all Americans to exercise their right to vote,” said Martin.
