Rep. Grier Martin was sworn in Monday evening to begin his 5th term in the North Carolina House of Representatives. After six months out of office, Martin was selected by Wake County Democrats to succeed his friend Rep. Deborah Ross. Ross retired to serve as the counsel for Triangle Transit.
